Pioneer Crossing | I-15 to Redwood Road

Pioneer Crossing (SR-145) operational improvements would address heavy directional traffic during rush hour between I-15 and Mountain View Corridor (SR-85).

A primary task for this project is installing Flex Lanes between Mill Pond Road and Redwood Road by converting the shoulders and center median into extra travel lanes. To learn more about Flex Lanes, go to the What are Flex Lanes? tab.

Other operational improvements coming to Pioneer Crossing include:

  • Installing an additional travel lane in each direction between Mill Pond Road and I-15, providing a total of four travel lanes in each direction for this section.

  • Extending the outside travel lane in each direction between Redwood Road and Mountain View Corridor, providing a total of three travel lanes in each direction for this section.

  • Constructing intersection modifications by extending existing turn lane pockets and installing additional turn lanes.

This map of Pioneer Crossing (State Route 145) highlights the study area from I-15 to Mountain View Corridor with location markers.
