Project Description

The Utah Department of Transportation(UDOT) will be resurfacing State Route 39 in Weber County starting from 14 miles east of Huntsville (MP 34) and continuing to the Monte Cristo Campground at the Weber County line.  The project objectives are aimed at preserving the longevity of the roadway and enhancing motorist safety by providing good skid resistance for vehicles. Refreshed lane and roadway painting/striping will be applied following the work, as well as updated roadside signage and centerline rumble strips.  Nearby UDOT project:  Huntsville Roundabout

Construction Start: July 8, 2024

Work Hours:  7am – 7pm Monday – Friday (12 PM); Nighttime closure anticipated

Workdays: Mon - Thu; Fri only as necessary.

Schedules are subject to change due to weather conditions and material availability.

  • Thru September: Install roadside delineator posts and repair culverts along the upper 2-mile section of road. (MP 42.5 - 44.5)
