Striping activities are continuing with traffic shifts. The project renewed asphalt to extend the life of the roadway.

Project Overview
The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is resurfacing the roadway on I-80 from Highway 179 to Burmester Road and MP 50 to MP 60 in Tooele County to extent the life of the roadway. Work is anticipated May through fall 2023.*
Drivers are advised to expect changing traffic patterns, intermittent lane restrictions, and to follow posted signs.
What to Expect
Daytime work Monday – Friday, 5:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Lane restrictions and shifts
Noise, dust, and vibration
Heavy equipment, support vehicles, and crew members in the area
Limited parking and restricted access to sidewalks in rest areas
