Projects Overview
We are investing in major improvements on I-80 and SR-224 between Salt Lake and Summit Counties over the next few years. These routes are vital, connecting communities from Salt Lake to Park City and getting deliveries from businesses to your door.
This is your one-stop shop for information on all the UDOT construction projects on I-80 and SR-224 in Summit County and Parleys Canyon. Over the next few years spanning 12 projects; four miles of pavement will be replaced, eight bridges will be improved or replaced, three intersections will be improved, and a new bus rapid transit system will be constructed on SR-224.
Our project teams are working together in the area to minimize delays during busy travel times. We are committed to keeping you in the loop so you can plan your travel.

Your Weekly Roadmap
I-80 Paving; Mountain Dell to Lambs Canyon: Starting Monday, Aug. 3, through Thursday, Aug. 13, one westbound I-80 lane will be closed daily between East Canyon Road and Lambs Canyon from 4 a.m. to 2 p.m. Overnight lane closures will also continue.
SR-224 Marsac Roundabout to SR-248 construction began on Monday, Aug. 3. Crews will begin work by constructing ADA-compliant pedestrian ramps.
I-80 Parleys Canyon to Emory Maintenance construction started Wednesday, Aug. 6. Drivers can expect shoulder closures.
