Impacts & Updates

Expect Delays on SR-36 & I-80

Crews will complete seeding and landscaping along SR-36 and I-80 as the project nears completion. Drivers should expect the following lane closures:

  • Northbound SR-36: Starting as early as Tuesday, Sept. 15, the right lane will close between Stansbury Parkway and Clinton Landing Road for approximately three days from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Eastbound I-80: Starting as early as Thursday, Sept. 17, the right lane will close between the SR-36 on-ramp and SR-201 for approximately three days from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Drivers should allow extra travel time, reduce speeds, and follow all posted signs through the work zone. This work brings us one step closer to completion, and these are the final lane closures currently anticipated for the project.
