Project Description
The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) will resurface State Route 150 in Summit County from State Route 32 (Main Street) in Kamas City to six miles east of Samak . The project objectives are aimed at preserving the life of the roadway. This paving process will help increase the longevity of the road surface, address roadway imperfections and enhance motorist safety by providing good skid resistance for vehicles.
Route: SR-150 | Start Milepost: 0 - End Milepost: 6.084
Work Schedule Details:
7/10 - 7/12 ) Filling and patching various soft spots along the route.
7/17 - 7/20 ) Tapering and compacting asphalt material along the shoulders. Adding delineators to the edge of the travel lanes.
7/25 - 7/31 ) Primary resurfacing work. This is a chip-seal and fog coat overlay process. Work will begin at the top of the route near the Samak Community, and conclude with some shouldering of the roadway and the addition of permanent travel-lane paint lines.
7/31 - 8/4 ) Additional miscellaneous work includes roadside signage updates, etc. Substantially complete!
