UDOT is evaluating a 10-mile extension of Mountain View Corridor from Cory Wride Highway (SR-73) to Redwood Road near Pelican Point through a State Environmental Study (SES). An SES helps guide informed, balanced decisions by evaluating the long-term mobility needs of all users in the proposed project area, identifying potential long-term solutions, and engaging stakeholders.

A draft SES is available for review at the links below.

The final SES is anticipated to be complete by the end of 2025.

Environmental studies are process-driven, meaning the schedule is approximate and subject to change.

Right-of-Way Purchase, Final Design, and Construction: TBD

Purchasing property needed for the road Right-of-Way, completing final design plans, and started construction are completed only if a design concept is selected during the State Environmental Study.

All of these remaining phases are dependent on funding availability.
