Early Morning Construction Activities

Crews will begin placing concrete for the main surface (deck) of the 300 West bridge over I-215 on Monday, April 22, at
4 a.m.

  • Nearby residents may experience noise, dust, vibration, and lighting in the area.

Ongoing Nightly I-215 On-Ramp Closures

The ramp from northbound I-15 to eastbound I-215 will continue to be closed each night In April while crews work on the 300 West bridge over I-215.

 

The westbound I-215 on-ramp at 280 East will also be closed each night throughout April.

 

What to Expect:

  • Nighttime construction activities: 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • Traffic restrictions may continue until July 2024
  • Intermittent lane restrictions each night near the bridge
  • Noise, dust, and vibration in the area
  • Delays while traveling on I-215
  • Follow posted detours

ONGOING ACTIVITIES:

Bridge reconstruction activities will continue on the 300 West bridge over I-215 in Murray during daytime and nighttime hours. The following traffic restrictions are expected:

  • 300 West will remain closed over I-215 to vehicles and pedestrians through June 2024
  • Intermittent lane restrictions on eastbound and westbound I-215
  • Access to local businesses will remain open during construction

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

In coordination with Murray City, the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) will rehabilitate the 300 West and 700 West Bridges over Interstate 215. Bridge reconstruction activities is expected to continue through 2024.

  • Construction activities Monday through Friday with occasional weekend work
