At the Henrieville Bridge, asphalt pavement will be placed and connected with the new bridge deck. The last few sections of concrete are being formed and poured on the structure. New guardrail will be placed over the next couple of weeks.
Please slow down and stay in your lane of travel. Thank you for your patience.
SR-12 IS OPEN DURING THESE BRIDGE UPGRADES.

Project Overview
Starting the week on November 20, 2023 The Utah Department of Transportation began removing and replacing the Henrieville Bridge and the Smith Ranch Bridge on State Route 12 in the Henrieville, Utah area. Henrieville Bridge: A bypass road will be built to divert traffic around the current bridge while crews rebuild. The team will begin creating the bypass road in November 2024. The bypass road will be paved and opened in March 2024. The bridge will be operational until August 2024.
Smith Ranch Bridge: This bridge will be constructed one side at a time. Traffic will be managed by a Traffic Light and northbound and southbound traffic will alternate moving across the bridge. Motorists can expect up to a 15 minute delay while waiting to cross the bridge. Construction on this bridge started March 4, 2024 along with use of the Traffic Signal to manage one lane traffic.
