SR-30 | SR-23 to 10th West | Construction

UDOT improved SR-30 in Cache County between 6000 West (SR-23) and 10th West (SR-252) by adding additional travel lanes and a new multimodal trail on the south side of the road.

Project Overview

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is improved State Route 30 (SR-30) to enhance safety, support growth and improve mobility for drivers, cyclists and pedestrians. Work included road widening, bridge and utility upgrades, a new trail, and intersection improvements.

Project Milestones

  • Urban Segment (1000 West to 1900 West)
    • Number of travel lanes increased to four, with two in each direction. 
    • 14-foot-wide center turn median 
    • 12-foot-wide shoulders 
  • Rural Segment (1900 West to SR-23)
    • Addition of a 14-foot-wide median with a median barrier 
    • 12-foot-wide shoulders which allow for bicycle use throughout the entire segment 
    • 12-foot wide trail for bicycles and pedestrians on the south side of SR-30 to provide access to the PacifiCorp recreation area (Cutler Marsh)
