Daytime One-way Traffic Configuration
In order to accommodate paving and patching operations, crews will be implementing a daytime, one-way traffic configuration controlled by a flagger. The one-way configuration will be in place daily between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. beginning Thursday, Oct. 24, through Saturday, Oct. 27. Drivers should expect delays of 5 to 10 minutes.
Project Overview
The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is improving State Route 30 (SR-30) in Cache County between 6000 West (SR-23) and 1000 West (SR-252) and implementing safety enhancements. These improvements include:
- Additional travel lanes
- Increased shoulder widths and flattened roadway side slopes
- Bridge and drainage improvements
- New pedestrian and multimodal trail on the southside and sidewalk on the north side of SR-30
- Advanced traffic warning systems and upgraded intersection lighting at 6000 West (SR-23)
What to Expect
Work will occur Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. with minimial night and weekend work. Other anticipated impacts include:
- Shifting traffic lanes and intermittent lane closures
- Traffic delays and congestion
- Construction related noise and vibration
