OVERVIEW

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) will be resurfacing Interstate 84, between milepost 8 and milepost 15.8 (see map) to extend the life of the roadways. In addition, Exit 12 will undergo the same resurfacing.

IMPACTS

Paving work continues. Please reduce speen, use caution, and heed traffic contol when traveling through the work zone. Construction work will be done in segments. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained throughout the duration of the project. At this time there is no plan for a flagging operation, or use of pilot cars.

SAFETY

Please drive carefully when traveling through construction areas and pay attention to all traffic signs, barrels, the workers, and equipment operating within the work zones.

SCHEDULE

Start Work: Summer, 2022

End Construction: Fall, 2022

Work Hours: 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Workdays: Monday - Friday
