UDOT in coordination with South Jordan City and Draper City has identified a few general priority areas to focus on as it seeks to improve transportation along the 11400 South corridor.
Thinking about 11400 South today, how would you rate the current conditions in each of the following areas?
Providing for efficient traffic flow east-west and north-south across city boundaries for regional travel
Address new travel patterns and needs for east west travel while accounting for the impact of growth and development in the community and surrounding areas as well as current transportation improvement of major north south corridors
Maintaining active transportation and providing usable multimodal (walking, biking, transit) options
Ensuring there are accessible, connected transportation routes along and across the corridor for all types of users and for various modes of transportation including transit, pedestrians, and cyclists
Balancing transportation solutions with existing and planned land use
Working with residents, city planners, and developers to outline and provide cohesive transportation solutions that support alternate forms of transportation and meet the needs and vision of the communities
