UDOT renewed US-40 between Clegg Canyon and the junction with US-189 in Heber City. In Fall 2023, our crews sealed cracks and repaired soft spots in the existing asphalt. We also replaced several old pedestrian ramps to bring them up to current ADA standards and installed new pedestrian ramps to improve accessibility.

In 2024, our crews returned to the site to complete the final phase of this project and placed a new road surface called a "microsurface" to preserve and extend the life of the pavement. They also replaced guardrail in the canyon and signs along the highway to improve safety for the traveling public.
