OVERVIEW

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) will rehabilitate asphalt pavement on two segments of Wall Avenue (SR-204) between Riverdale Road and 35th Street, and from 22nd Street to US-89 in Ogden. Additionally, select pedestrian sidewalk ramps will be rebuilt to current Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. The project begins May 6 and will be underway through Fall 2024.

Wall Avenue is a major north-south corridor that connects Ogden, Riverdale, and Harrisville and other destinations in the valley.

ANTICIPATED IMPACTS

The contractor will minimize impacts to traffic by performing a majority of the work during nighttime hours, however, please expect the following impacts near/in the work zone:

  • Construction-related noise
  • Vibration
  • Shifting traffic lanes and lane closures.
  • Traffic delays due to lane restrictions and signal work

We ask motorists to reduce speed and watch for changing traffic patterns, lane restrictions, and workers in the roadway.

BENEFITS

  • Preserve infrastructure by replacing the pavement on this busy corridor.
