Project Background

UDOT conducted a project to repave US-91 (Main Street) in Smithfield, from 800 South to just north of 400 North. This project included removing and replacing the top layer of asphalt, along with installing new pedestrian ramps to meet current ADA standards, updating roadway striping, and replacing road signs.

This project extended the life of the existing asphalt and provided a better driving experience for motorists along this corridor.

Work began on June 3, 2024 and concluded at the end of August 2024.
