Project Description:

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) will resurface U.S. Route 89 in Weber County from SR-193 (Exit 404) to the Weber River Bridge. The project objectives are aimed at preserving the life of the roadway.  The paving process will help increase the longevity of the road surface, address roadway structural integrity and enhance motorist safety by providing a smoother, more durable road surface.  The resurfacing includes the on/off ramps at SR-60 and left-turn northbound on ramp on SR-193.  Please stay tuned for additional information as it becomes available. 

 

10/24 Notice:  US-89 SB on-ramp closure @ SR-193; starting Fri night, 10/25, 9pm - midnight

Work Hours: 7 p.m. - 7 a.m. ; 7 pm - 5am (weekdays)

*Daytime Ramp Closures possible

Work Times: Monday Night - Sunday Morning

Schedules are subject to change due to weather conditions and material availability.

 

  • 10/15 & 10/16:  SB Concrete climbing lane closed for finishing work along the joints. 
  • 10/21 - 10/24:  Completion of grooving and permanent travel lane line striping.
  • 10/25:  US-89 SB on-ramp closure @ SR-193 for grinding and smoothing of concrete to asphalt transitions.
