Overview

Project Overview

As early as Monday, June 15, 2026, UDOT will begin a project to renew US-89 from Eagle Ridge Drive in North Salt Lake to I-15 in Bountiful. The project entails removing and replacing the top layer of asphalt, along with installing new sidewalk pedestrian ramps to meet current ADA standards, new curb and gutter, and updated roadway signs. Work is anticipated to be completed by late September 2026.

To limit impacts to traffic, most work will take place from approximately 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. nightly, from Sunday night to Friday morning. Minor work activities will take place during daytime hours, such as removing and replacing sidewalk pedestrian ramps.
