US-89; AZ TO BUCK TANK DRAW

Starting Thursday, Apri 18, crews will begin removing the top layer of asphalt and adding new asphalt paving from the Arizona State line to the Buck Tank Draw area on US-89. This activity will necessitate a one lane traffic operation in the construction zone. Motorists can expect up to a 15 minute delay while waiting for their lane of traffic to travel through the closure area. The one lane traffic operation will be active Monday through Friday from about 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Traffic will return to one lane open in each direction on Saturdays and Sundays.

The new asphalt paving will extend the duration of the road and renew the driving surface.
