US-89 Safety Improvements

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) will begin a safety improvement project on southbound US-89 in South Ogden starting as early as July 29. This project will increase safety for motorists by improving and widening the shoulder area, repairing damaged asphalt, and installing guardrails for a ¾ mile section of roadway. These safety measures aim to make the roadway safer and prevent vehicles from leaving the roadway.

The project starts south of Skyline Drive with work taking place Monday-Friday from 7:00 a.m. through 9:00 p.m. and is scheduled to be completed by the end of September.
