US-40 | Currant Creek to SR-208 | Fruitland | Renewed
The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) will repave a 1-mile section of U.S. Highway 40 near the Wasatch and Duchesne County line as well as a 7-mile section between Fruitland and SR-208. Roadway reconstruction will be conducted near Red Creek (MP 65), then mill the asphalt and pave US-40. Following paving activities, reinstallation of barriers and guardrail and pavement markings and signage will be replaced.

Project Overview
The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) will repave a 1-mile section of U.S. Highway 40 near the Wasatch and Duchesne County line as well as a 7-mile section between Fruitland and SR-208.
Work began the week of July 6th. We will conduct roadway reconstruction near Red Creek (MP 65), then mill the asphalt and pave US-40. Following paving activities, we will reinstall barriers and guardrail and replace pavement markings and signage.
Work is anticipated to be completed by late November 2026.
