UDOT is renewing US-40 between Clegg Canyon and the junction with US-189 in Heber City. Last fall, our crews sealed cracks and repaired soft spots in the existing asphalt. We also replaced several old pedestrian ramps to bring them up to current ADA standards and installed new pedestrian ramps to improve pedestrian accessibility.

This summer, our crews are returning to complete the final phase of this renewal project and place a new road surface called a "micro surface" to preserve and extend the life of the pavement. They will also replace guardrail in the canyon and signs along the highway to improve safety for the traveling public.
