Project Overview

UDOT placed a chip seal road treatment along approximately ten miles of US-40 in Uintah County to preserve and extend the life of the pavement.

Project Timeline

April 2026: Crews sealed existing cracks in the asphalt to prepare the road for resurfacing in the summer.

Late June 2026: Crews placed a chip seal road treatment and replaced signage along the route.

Late July 2026: All roadwork is completed.
