US-40 Pavement Preservation

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) will resurface approximately ten miles of US-40 in Uintah County between the turn-off to SR-88 and 1500 South in Vernal.

This project seeks to preserve the life of the pavement by resurfacing the road with a chip and seal coat overlay. This process will help prevent the deterioration of the road surface over time and improve motorist safety by providing good traction and skid resistance for vehicles.
