Adding extended passing lanes and improved shoulders throughout the project.
SR-132 Project Update
Construction has resumed on the SR-132 project. Shoulder work will continue over the next couple of weeks, followed by repaving of the entire corridor.
What to Expect in the Coming Week
Crews will be active at various locations along the project, primarily working on the shoulders. While major traffic delays are not expected, occasional lane shifts will be managed by flaggers.
Upcoming Schedule Highlights:
May 12-16: Crews will apply the final layer of roadway surface, called microsurface. Final pavement striping will be completed following this work.

Project Recap
Improved roadway shoulders by flattening slopes
Added a lane between MP 37 and 38, extending two existing passing lanes into one continuous section
Constructed several retaining walls to accommodate the wider roadway and shoulders
Replaced significant portions of Nephi City’s water line
Construction is anticipated to continue through Spring 2025.
