Project Description

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) will be implementing safety enhancements within Ogden Canyon during the Summer of 2024. The first objective is to install centerline sinusodial rumble strips from milepost MP 9.0 to 13.9. The second objective is to replace and upgrade concrete barriers with base rock wall cap reinforcements from MP 9.0 - 9.9 (see map below).  Refreshed lane and roadway painting/striping will be applied following the work.   Note:   To maintain mortorist safety, one-way alternating traffic control will remain in place 24/7 throughout project duration at the construction zone.   The westbound lane is currently closed near the base of Ogden Canyon. Expect pilot car (or) tempory traffic signals to assist traffic through construction zone.
