Project Description:

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) resurfaced the road on SR-150 from Trial Lake to Sulphur Campground. The project objectives were aimed at preserving the life of the road. This resurfacing process helped increase the longevity of the road surface, addressed road imperfections, and enhanced motorist safety by providing good skid resistance for vehicles. Additional work included refreshed lane and road painting/striping, as well as updated roadside signage.

Project Milestones

  • Work hours were daytime (7 a.m. – 8 p.m.).

  • Workdays were Monday – Friday.

  • July 14: Construction started.

  • July 21: Paving operations began.

  • September 2 – 16: Installation of roadside delineator posts and travel lane painting and striping were completed.

  • September 22: Construction ended.
