Project Overview
The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT), in partnership with the Capitol Preservation Board (CPB) and the Utah Division of Facilities Construction and Management (DFCM), built a new, single-lane roundabout at State Street and 300 North in Salt Lake City, in front of the Utah State Capitol building.
The roundabout is designed to enhance safety at this busy intersection for all users.
In coordination with the roundabout project, the DFCM relocated the State of Utah wall to allow more space for gatherings and photography opportunities. These efforts combine to create a welcoming environment for residents and Capitol visitors.
