Timpanogos Highway Safety Project
The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) will extend the center median on the Timpanogos Highway (SR-92) from Manor Drive to Park Drive (milepost 6 to milepost 7). The extended median will increase safety for motorists accessing or exiting the roadway.
Overview
The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) will extend the center median from Manor Drive to Park Drive (milepost 6 to milepost 7). The extended median will increase safety for motorists accessing or exiting the roadway.
Project Update
Crews will be finishing up the guardrail and barrier on Thursday, July 26. A protective microsurface will be installed on Thursday and Friday nights, with one lane scheduled for completion each night. One lane will remain open in each direction during this work.
Upcoming work includes road striping, sign placement and reseeding the sides of the roadway.
One traffic lane will remain open in each direction. PLEASE slow down and watch for crews, equipment and changing traffic patterns.
Expected Impacts
One lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction during construction. Work is expected to take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday – Thursday, and from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Fridays.
