SR-87 | Altamont | Duchesne County | Maintenance
This is a UDOT safety project to stabilize the slope along US-87 approximately 1/2 mile east of Altamont, Utah.
Project Overview
As part of the Utah Department of Transportation’s efforts to improve safety along SR-87 near Altamont, UDOT will stabilize the slope next to the roadway (see map for project limits). This work will strengthen the slope and help prevent future movement. Crews will clear and reshape the slope and install materials to support it. Some of the roadway will also be rebuilt as part of the project to improve travel conditions and provide a safer, more reliable road for the future.
