Construction Update (Wednesday, July 2, 2025)
The speed limit along SR-30 in active work areas has been reduced to 50 mph. Drivers should follow the posted speed limit.
SR-30 Lane Shifts near 2300 West (Cache Humane Society)
Lanes on SR-30 have shifted to the north near the Cache Humane Society to begin repaving the south side of the road. During this paving work, the left-turn lane pockets near the Cache Humane Society and Logan Regional Wastewater Treatment Facility will be removed.
The lane shifts are planned to remain in place through early August.* Please slow down and use caution as drivers adjust to the new traffic pattern.
Sidewalk Closure and Pedestrian Detour
Crews have started signal work on the northeast corner of 10th West and SR-30 (200 North). The sidewalk on the north side of SR-30 will be closed between 950 West and near the crosswalk at 10th West. Pedestrians can still cross 10th West but will need to detour north to 400 North and back down to SR-30 via 950 West during this work.
Road Surface Repairs
Crews will restripe lane lines and patch the roadway and potholes throughout the project area as needed.
Ongoing Project Work
Crews are currently installing conduits and junction boxes for traffic information systems between 1900 West and 10th West.
Work on the Logan River Dock parking lot has started and the entrance and parking lot will be temporarily reconfigured. This work and temporary reconfiguration will remain in place until spring 2025.
Work is underway on the pedestrian underpass at the intersection of SR-30 and SR-23.
Logan Power is relocating power lines to underground conduits and is currently working between the auto salvage yard and 10th West.
