Project Overview

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is improving State Route 30 (SR-30) to enhance safety, support growth and improve mobility for drivers, cyclists and pedestrians. Work includes road widening, bridge and utility upgrades, a new trail, and intersection improvements. Construction is ongoing through summer 2026, with crews working to keep traffic moving while major upgrades take shape.

Anticipated 2025 Milestones

  • New pavement will be completed between Gateway Drive and east of the Cutler Marsh bridge.

  • Improvements at the Logan River Access site will be substantially complete.

  • New sewer main on SR-30 is live and operational.

  • Two new waterway culverts at Cutler Marsh have been installed.

  • Access to the Logan Landfill will be shifted to the newly constructed Cache Parkway.

Upcoming Work (Through Summer 2026)

  • Continued reconstruction of the bridge over Cutler Marsh

  • Completion of the SR-23 pedestrian tunnel

  • Improvements to the railroad crossing

  • Roadway reconstruction of SR-30 between Gateway Drive and 1000 West.

  • Finishing shoulders and trail construction

  • Street lighting

Workdays: Monday - Saturday
