Project Overview 

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) updated the SR-26 bridge (Riverdale Road over US-84) by applying preservation and rehabilitation treatments to extend the life of the bridge.

Fall construction work was completed in early November 2022, crews will return this June to apply a protection coating on the bridge deck. 

Improvements Included

• Resurfacing the bridge deck
• Leveling the approach 
• Replacing bearings and expansion joints 

What to Expect

• Nighttime work 
• No traffic impacts to be expected during the day
• Travel lane shifts
• Noise, dust, and vibrations
