Project Description
The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) will resurface SR-224 (Marsac Ave.) in Summit County, from the Wasatch County line to the Marsac roundabout at Mile Post 4.65. The project objectives are aimed at preserving the life of the roadway by preventing the deterioration of the road surface and address roadway imperfections. Additional work includes adding rumble strips with a brake check area to enhance motorist safety, as well as rebuild Hillside Ave. pedestrian ramps to be ADA compliant.

Aug 28 - Sept 1 | Utility covers will be raised to be flush with the pavement, and any outstanding roadside signs will be installed. Crews will be located at the Marsac Roundabout to the Ontario Mine Monday, August 28 and Tuesday, August 29. Moderate traffic delays. Project substantially complete! |
Sept 5 - 8 | Some final patch work of the road surface will be necessary near the summit. A second coat of paint will be applied to the travel lane lines. Light traffic delays possible during peak periods. |
