SR-201 | I-80 On & Off Ramps | Tooele County | Bridge Work

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) will be undergoing bridge deck repair work on SR-201 at two locations starting this September 2026 in Tooele county. This work is necessary to maintain and restore the smooth driving surface. The first location is on the on/off bridge ramps of SR-201 @ I-80. The second bridge location is on SR-201 at approximately 9200 W. This work will require some nighttime lane reductions and consecutive weekend closures of SR-201 for motorist who are planning to reach I-80.

Note:  Potential nighttime weekday, and additional full weekend closures are possible through October 25, 2026

Work Hours: Daytime & Nighttime hours

Workdays:

SR-201 closures @ I-80 off Ramps: Wed Night; Thu Night - Mon Morning

SR-201 @ 9200 West: Work Complete

Construction will begin in September 2026

Starting as early as Monday night, September 7, and continuing nightly through Sept 23.  (See Schedule)

  • Bridge Work @ 9200 west with pothole patching repairs
  • Plan on single lane restrictions through the construction zone
  • Lane restriction of 14 ft at night in either direction.
  • Light delays only from approximately 10pm to 6am, Mon - Thu nightly

Starting as early as Friday night, September 18, and running continuously each weekend through Oct. 25.  

  • Bridge work on SR-201 on/off ramps @ I-80
