SR-16 | Rich County | Bridge Work

SR-16 | Rich County | Bridge Work

Overview

Project Overview

The SR-16 Bridge Work project will replace two bridges and several pipe culvert crossings in Rich County between Woodruff and Randolph. The bridge replacements are located at Francis Road south of Woodruff and over the Woodruff-Randolph Canal south of Randolph. The culvert replacements are located just north of Francis Road.

The goal of this project is to bring the bridges and culverts into a state of good repair while continuing to support safe, reliable travel for all users of the corridor.

UDOT is also paving SR-16 from the Utah/Wyoming border to the Randolph. The project will remove and replace asphalt in some areas while applying a liquid asphalt layer, chip seal, in others. This project will help to increase the life of the road.
