Overview
Project Overview
The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) will begin constructing improvements to SR-14 on July 20.
The top layer of asphalt has been removed and asphalt paving began on July 20, and will continue through August. Afterwards, crews will begin removing and replacing the guardrail along the roadway, which will go from August 17 until October 14. The project will be completed in October 2026. A pilot car is being used for traffic control, as well as a traffic light. The traffic light will be positioned at the beginning of the S-turn, near Cedar Canyon Camp Ground. Motorists should expect up to 15-minute delays in each direction.
Improvements include:
- Replaced and resurfaced roadway.
- Newly installed guardrail.
- Installation of a box culvert.
