Ongoing Work
Crews are continuing to prepare the subgrade of the new box culvert. Early next week crews will finish forming the bottom of the culvert and pour concrete for the new base. After the base has been poured crews will start on the side walls of the structure.

Driver Reminders:
Lane shifts and temporary signalized traffic control will remain in place throughout the work zone. Plan for short-term delays and allow extra travel time when traveling through the area.
Cabin Hollow Road has been closed for approximately 6 weeks while crews continue work in the area. The road is used as a service access road for the Forest Service and will not impact traffic patterns in the area.
Project Overview
The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) will be replacing a box culvert on State Route 12 from approximately milepost (MP) 6 to MP 7. This project includes renewing the roadway surface and replacing a box culvert. This project will extend the life of the roadway and improve drainage. Work began Tuesday, June 17, 2025.

- Short-term 20-minute delays during daytime operation
