Study Overview

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is working to enhance safety at the intersection of State Route 126 and 700 South in Marriott-Slaterville. Planned improvements will include widening SR-126 to accommodate new left-turn lanes to 700 South. Most of this work is anticipated to take place within the existing UDOT right-of-wat, but some property owners may be contacted for construction easements to allow room to complete the work and tie in driveways. Design is underway through spring 2024 with construction planned for 2025.

As part of this effort, the design team will be surveying the existing roadway and will collect survey data along driveways and within the front yards of properties immediately adjacent to SR-126 between now and the middle of January 2024.
