Project On Track to Begin Construction in Spring 2027

Design of the new I-15 South Cedar Interchange continues to progress as planned and has reached 60% completion.

Through spring 2026, UDOT will continue acquiring the right-of-way needed for this project. Coordination with utility owners is ongoing to identify and redesign any affected systems. Environmental survey work is also underway, and you may see crews performing surveys in areas surrounding the interchange. 

This summer, project design will continue advancing toward 90% completion. 

Noise Evaluation

Noise evaluations conducted as part of the project's environmental review identified areas that qualify for further evaluation. The team will be reaching out to affected properties about next steps.
