Project Overview

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is preparing for Phase 2 of the Trappers Loop Fiber Project along SR-226 in Weber County from milepost 0 to milepost 3. This phase is part of a larger 27-mile corridor improvement project extending through Weber and Morgan counties. Work includes fiber cable and utility installation, roadway milling and paving, and shoulder improvements. The project supports UDOT's efforts to expand roadway fiber optic infrastructure, improving broadband connectivity, regional mobility, and year-round recreational access.
