PROJECT OVERVIEW

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is improving pedestrian ramps across Salt Lake County. UDOT identified over 100 various pedestrian ramps that need an upgrade to meet the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards

The goals of this project include:

  • Provide a safer and smoother transition from the roadway to the sidewalk.
  • Provide pedestrians with better accessibility at these locations.
  •

Construction will begin in August 2023 and continue through November 2023

Residents and businesses on adjacent properties may experience short-term impacts during construction and the project team will work closely with those residents before work occurs. Traffic impacts should be minimal for drivers.
