Project Overview

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is adding a lane to Legacy Parkway in each direction from Farmington to I-215 as part of a comprehensive effort to meet travel demand through 2050.  The lanes will be added in the middle, between the existing northbound and southbound lanes.

Construction is anticipated to begin as early as Monday, March 23, 2026, and be completed by the end of 2026.

What to expect during construction:

  • Daytime work Monday through Friday
  • Shoulder and median work
  • Traffic shifts
  • Lane closures
  • Moderate travel delays
  • Increased dust, noise, vibration, and construction vehicle traffic

Schedule

Work Hours: 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Workdays: Monday - Friday

Night and weekend work as needed.

Schedules are subject to change due to weather conditions and material availability.
