Rockport | SR-32 & SR-302 | Bridge Work
UDOT is replacing the bridge on SR-32 over the Weber River and rehabilitating the bridge on SR-302 near the entrance to Rockport State Park. Work is scheduled to begin as soon as April 14, 2026 and is anticipated to be complete by October 30, 2026.
Project Overview
The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is replacing the bridge on SR-32 over the Weber River and rehabilitating the bridge on SR-302 near the entrance to Rockport State Park. Work began on April 14, 2026 and is anticipated to be complete early 2027.
Replacing and rehabilitating these bridges will extend the life of these structures.
While work is underway, drivers can expect lane reductions near the work zones with one-way travel directed by temporary signals. Please reduce speeds while traveling through the area and anticipate minor delays on SR-32 where the roadway has been reduced to one-lane.

- SR-302 bridge work at Rockport State Park entrance
- The State Park entrance and access to its amenities will be temporarily closed for approximately one month. Information on the closure will also be posted at Rockport State Park | Utah State Parks.
Schedule
Work Hours: 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Workdays: Monday - Friday
No work will occur on holidays.
Schedules are subject to change due to weather conditions and material availability.
