Project Description:

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) will be implementing safety enhancements of rockfall mitigation on Pineview Dam (SR-158) near Ogden Canyon. The project objectives are aimed at enhancing safety for motorists passing through the route. This work includes using a crane and a helicopter to mount a draped wire mesh fence along the rock wall onto the barrier adjacent to the westbound lane. The results will serve as extra protection from loose falling rocks for SR-158 motorists.
