Improvements are being made to Redwood Road (SR-68). These improvements will include an improved right turn lane onto Pony Express Parkway.

Project Overview

To improve the Redwood Road (SR-68) right turn lane onto Pony Express Parkway.  This work will also include the reconstruction of two “damaged” road sections, applying a thin layer of asphalt to the full length of the project limits and installing a stormwater pipe.

Schedule

Work Begins: August 24, 2026 

Daytime Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

(May include some weekend work)
 

Nighttime Hours: 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. (Sunday evening to Saturday morning)
                             
Schedule is subject to change due to weather, materials availability or other unforeseen issues.

The contractor will bring construction equipment onto the project site and start working the week of Monday, August 24, 2026

    Construction Activities

    • Southbound Redwood Road right turn lane lengthening and widening.

    • Applying a thin layer of asphalt known as micro-surface just south of Pony Express Parkway to just south of Pioneer Crossing.
    • Repair two damaged road sections with new asphalt.
    • Installing additional stormwater pipe.
