Ongiong Construction Activities

  • During the day, work to replace pedestrian access ramps and repair curb and gutter throughout the corridor is ongoing.
    • Drivers can expect single-lane closures and traffic shifts while this work occurs.
    • Lane closures in conjunction with this work are anticipated to begin at 10 a.m. and be removed by 5 a.m.
  • Concrete panel repair is occurring in localized areas throughout the construction corridor.
  • Crack repair is occurring in localized areas throughout the construction corridor.

Upcoming Construction Activities

  • Sign replacement throughout the construction area is anticipated to occur in early May.

Project Overview

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) plans to renew SR-68 (Redwood Road) from 9000 South to 6600 South beginning as early as April 15th and continuing through summer 2024*. The project will resurface and repair the pavement to extend the life of the roadway and reconstruct various pedestrian access ramps. 

*Construction schedueles are subject to change due to weather, utility, and material delays.
