Eastbound I-80 from Salt Lake International Airport

Eastbound I-80 from Salt Lake Int'l Airport exit will be fully closed for bridge construction activities starting Friday, May 3 (7 a.m.) and continuing through early next week.

• Drivers exiting the airport will follow the posted detour on westbound I-80 towards 5600 West to return on eastbound I-80.
• Expect delays while traveling out of the airport

SR-202 over I-80 near Saltair

SR-202 over I-80 bridge near Saltair is scheduled to be closed starting Sunday, April 28, for bridge reconstruction activities and will reopen in early May.

• Traffic access on the bridge will be fully restricted
• Follow posted detour

Redwood Road over I-80



Nightly lane shifts are expected on Redwood Road over I-80 and will continue until mid-May for bridge construction activities.

• Intermittent lane shifts between 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
• Take alternate routes if possible
• Noise, dust, vibration, and night lighting in the area

The eastbound I-80 bridge from southbound I-215 (exit 22 A) will be closed for bridge maintenance starting Friday, May 3 (8 p.m.), and will continue until Monday, May 6 (5 a.m.).

Westbound I-80 to SL Int'l Airport from Northbound I-215*

The westbound I-80 ramp to the Salt Lake International Airport will be closed from northbound I-215 starting as early as Friday, May 10 (8 p.m.) through Tuesday, May 14, afternoon for bridge maintenance work. More information will be coming soon.

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) will rehabilitate 19 bridges throughout Salt Lake County over Interstate 80 (i-80), Bangerter Highway (UT-154), Redwood Road (SR-68), and State Route 202 (SR-202). The locations include:
