The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is scheduled to repave SR-196 between MP 24 and Interstate 80 this summer. The project will improve safety and make for a smoother ride for drivers.

During construction, drivers can expect minor travel delays and are encouraged to take alternate routes such as SR-199.

Area residents and businesses may experience temporary access closures as paving work passes through the area.
