Nephi Main Street Paving Project Overview

UDOT resurfaced Main Street in Nephi City from the junction with I-15 on the north end of the city to the I-15 junction on the south end.

Resurfacing activities included asphalt removal and replacement along five miles of Main Street. This project preserved and extended the life of the pavement which improves motorist safety by providing good traction and skid resistance for vehicles. Crews also reconstructed the sidewalk, curb, and gutter between 600 South and 700 South on the east side of the road, replaced and installed new ADA (The Americans with Disabilities Act) compliant ramps along the corridor to improve pedestrian safety and access, installed new storm drain pipe at 700 South, and replaced concrete waterways at 300 South and 1500 South to improve drainage in the area.
