Project Description

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) will resurface SR-129 from US-89 (State St.) to SR-92 (11000 N). The project objectives are aimed at preserving the life of the roadway. This resurfacing process will help increase the longevity of the road surface, address roadway imperfections and enhance motorist safety by providing good skid resistance for vehicles. Additional work includes refreshed lane and road painting/striping, as well as updated roadside signage.

Construction Start: July 9

Work Hours: 7 PM - 7 AM (Mostly Nightwork)

Workdays: Monday PM - Sunday AM (Additional work may occur Sunday PM - Monday AM as needed.)

Wednesday, July 9 - Wednesday, July 16: 

Crews will perform roadway preparation work. Minimal traffic control will be in place, with occasional noise throughout the project area.

Thursday, July 17 - Friday, July 18:

Crews will be lowering utilities. Expect intermittent lane closures, with flaggers directing traffic safely through the work zone.

Sunday, July 20 - Wednesday, July 23: 

Asphalt patching will take place throughout the project area. Intermittent lane closures will be in effect, with flaggers present to guide traffic.

Tuesday, July 29 - Monday, August 11: 

Paving operations are scheduled to begin. Lane closures will be in place, with flaggers and additional traffic control measures.

Tuesday, August 12 - Early September: 

Final striping and project wrap-up activities will occur. Minimal traffic impacts are expected during this time.
