The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) will be performing roadway preservation work along US-89 from 22nd Street to 2nd Street and along SR-235 from 2nd Street to North Street in Weber County. This project is designed to extend the life of the roadway and improve safety for all users.

Project Overview
The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) will be performing road preservation work along US-89 from 22nd Street to 2nd Street and along SR-235 from 2nd Street to North Street in Weber County. This project is designed to extend the life of the road and improve safety.
Construction is scheduled to take place from June 21, 2026, through mid-October. Work will primarily occur during nighttime hours to minimize daytime traffic impacts, with a six-week stint of daytime work required for sidewalk ramp improvements.
Key Features Include:
- Pavement repair and resurfacing
- Concrete panel replacement and road rehabilitation
- ADA upgrades, including reconstruction of pedestrian ramps
- Traffic signal improvements at key intersections
- New pavement markings, striping, and signage
- Curb, gutter, and sidewalk improvements
- Minor landscaping and irrigation restoration

- Daytime Work: 7 a.m. - 5 a.m.
Workdays: Sunday Night - Friday Morning
No work on Saturdays or holidays
