Logan Main Street | Improved
Logan Main Street | Improved
The project studies a new east‑side road connecting Main Street and 100 East and 200 East to improve traffic flow, reduce congestion, and better connect neighborhoods in Logan.
Overview
Project Overview
The Logan Main Street Y to X and 100 East to 200 East Connector Project focuses on designing and refining a roadway connection between the Main Street Y intersection at US-89/91 and SR-165, and east side streets such as 100 East and 200 East. The purpose of this project is to determine how this connection can be designed to: improve traffic flow and safety, provide reliable east-west travel options, better connect neighborhoods and local streets, and limit impacts to nearby properties and resources. While the connection concept has already been identified, many important design details are still being refined.
The project team is in the early stages of advancing the alignment section for the connection by:
- Refining and evaluating possible roadway alignments and layouts
- Studying traffic operations and safety
- Identifying utility, drainage, and property needs
- Developing preliminary cost information
- Coordination with local agencies and stakeholders
